This site was created to inform the public about the various legal contracts they are signing. A lot of these terms are not enforceable but some of the contracts violate freedom of speech and also may hold ‘the undersigned’ accountable for disruption of service, legal fees, and other nasties.

Most companies do not expect you to read these long contracts so they bury things in there that would probably make you not want to agree. As you noticed, they do not give you an option to negotiate the contract either.

Violations of rights and abuse of power through these agreements due to public ignorance has to be surfaced. The more the public is informed, the less of our private lives we will have to submit to companies, advertisers, telecommunications companies, spammers, data peddlers, and bottom-dwellers of the Internet.

I hope you find this site helpful. Please submit agreements you want to see reviewed and dissected by commenting below.
